Mothers Day Gift Guide

Posted by Becky Whittaker on

With Mothers Day fast approaching on Sunday 6th March 2016 it is time to turn our attention to what we buy for these special ladies in our lives, what do you buy for the woman who has everything? Never fear, our Mothers Day Gift Guide is here to help!

Here at Taste Box, unique and exciting are our middle names so here are some gift ideas for you;

Popcorn Maker - This is one kitchen gadget that won't just be left in a cupboard. A popcorn maker is a quick and convenient way to pop a healthy but tasty snack at a fraction of the cost of those ready made bags. The machine works by using hot air to pop the corn leaving you with tasty light popcorn but without the need for oil. We like the look of this retro one by Andrew James!  Be sure to also treat her to some tasty toppings, Malt Salt by J&Ds is a good choice, her popcorn will taste just like salt and vinegar snacks!

Giant Gummy Bear - Cherry - Giant Gummy Bears really do take some beating as far as fun gift ideas go! These are perfect for Mums that love chewy sweets; boy these are chewy and moreish! Hurry, they are available whilst stocks last.

Dartmoor Coffee Chilli Chocolate- This is a bit different to the usual chocolate available in your local store. You Mum will be receiving a new taste experience combining good quality chocolate with the explosive flavours of Coffee and Chilli. These tasty bars are made here in Britain using only the finest ingredients - the result is truly delicious.

Faux Flowers - Gone are the days when fake flowers look well, errrrr fake! Technology has moved on and faux flowers that look completely real are adorning homes more and more. Lets face it flowers are expensive so why not spend your cash on something that will stand the test of time. We love these lovely Peony Sprays but there are so many more to choose from the world is your oyster. Choose neutral colours or those that compliment your Mums colour scheme for a gift she will love.

Shellac Manicure with Nail Art - What Mum can resist a little pampering? Why not book her in for a manicure with nail art using Shellac for long lasting colour which doesn't damage her natural nails. Nail art is becoming more and more intricate with countless designs, colours and sparkles to choose from. If you would like to give her a little tasty treat to open on the day you simply cannot go wrong with some Mike & Ike Original Fruit Chews, these delicious sweet candies are really different and are now made with real fruit juice!

 We hope that this has given you some real inspiration, have fun and enjoy your time together!
